Museum Hilversum
Discover the extensive collection of media art at Museum Hilversum and be surprised! Museum Hilversum shows a variety of exhibitions with various forms of media art. Museum Hilversum is partly located in the original town hall of Hilversum. The core of the striking building on the Kerkbrink is now about 250 years old and therefore one of the oldest buildings in Hilversum. After 1931, when the new "Dudok" town hall was opened, the building had various functions, in recent decades mainly as a museum. In 2005 the Museum Hilversum was expanded with a spectacular round extension designed by architect Hans Ruyssenaars.
