Zuiderheide
The Zuiderheide is a heathland that descends from the oldest residential area of the Gooi, the Sint Janskerkhof, towards the Eem Valley. In some places that gives a great view. The area is very important archeologically and geologically. The "Seven Hills" - there are more but this has to do with the formerly sacred number seven, as the burial mounds are called - date from about four thousand years ago.
