Pumping Station at Laaperveld
Hilversum is located in a hilly area. The lower parts became flooded after a lot of rainshowers. Dudok instructed the placement of a reservoir and pumping station at the lowest point of Hilversum (1919-1920). Also at this time a lush park was created with a beautiful pond.
