Are you walking the Voetstappen trail? You are probably going to crave a hot snack or drink. No worries, you will find plenty of good spots for a takeaway on the trail. But please realize that opening hours will depend on the day and the Covid measures that are applicable the day you walk. We hope you’ll support your locals and treat yourself with hot cocoa or warm soup.
- Theehuis ‘t Bluk serves coffee, sandwiches, wraps, pea soup, and snacks daily. Please check the Facebook site for opening hours.
- Restaurant Groot Kievietsdal is currently closed.
- On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays you can stop at the Herberg Boschoord. On these days they are open from 11:00-17:00hr and serve delicious sandwiches. Try the hotdog 2.0 or the vegetarian pulled jackfruit sandwich. On the menu are also homemade quiches, soup, hot cocoa, and a homemade glühwein. You can also order (a day in advance at the latest) a filled picnic basket for a lunch in the forest.
- Perron Peet is also open from 10:00-19:00hr for takeaway sandwiches and coffee.
- Restaurant de Rading doesn’t have a takeaway during the day. But they open at 17:00 hr for takeaway dinners.
- On Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00-17:00 hr, you can stop at Bij de Tuinman for tea, coffee, or a delicious cake. Tired of a long day walking? You can also get a takeaway meal here on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 17:00hr.
- Feel like having chips? Then plan a pit stop at Cafetaria Jan Kruis. Open every day except Sundays at 10:30 hr.
- Dudockx Bar & Kitchen isn’t open for takeaway but you can order a well-deserved dinner here to take home after a long day walking.
- Treat yourself to a delicious warm snack from Restaurant Robert. Open from Friday to Sunday 11:00-17:00 hr but check the Facebook page to be sure.
- For a Dutch winter classic ‘Koek & Zopie’ or a takeaway lunch, stop at Eetcafé ‘t Pandje. Open from 12:00 hr on Thursday to Sunday
