Poem about two souls in one body, sharing woe and whim so deeply intertwined, yet still separate within. It wasn’t like this when we first met.

You were a restless volcano, coughing up your toxic fumes and vomiting your fire from deep within. I was a brewing storm, emotions and ever omnious, rumbeling sound.

So untethered, I forgot which way to the ground, but you were warm. So full of understanding, steam surrounding relief.

Resounding two elements melting together to form what they’ve been missing. Trauma changes you, but so does healing. When you finally allow yourself to be start feeling.

Having found our match, we found a new nature, a new way to be, and we will both fight and nature until the earth

and its beings are free.
